Good morning Beloved! I am going to take this opportunity to speak about some good ole biblical prosperity! I know that is a touchy subject amongst the Christian community, but I am fully convinced that God is into prospering His peeps! And the Word fully backs that up! I have seen it myself in my own life and family as well. But, even if I had not seen it, I would STILL be fully convinced because God’s Word says it is true!

In Psalm 23, it says ‘The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.’ It does not say ‘I shall not need,’ does it? So, it is obvious that The Lord is going to provide all our needs since God clearly promises that throughout the bible. But, not only does He promise to provide EVERY need, He goes further and promises EVERY WANT! Thank you Jesus!

Psalm 37:4 says ‘delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.’ Desires mean things we want, not things we need! God is saying here, “Hey, delight in Me, spend time with Me, take joy in Me, and I will give you what you want!” God wants to give us what we want! It always surprises me when Christians have a problem with this concept! If God is good (and the Bible says He is), and God is the giver of every good GIFT (also Bible), why is it hard to believe God wants to prosper us and bless us with things we want and not just need?! One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11. It says that God knows the plans He has for us. Which are to PROSPER us, to give us a hope and a future! Amen?! Those are great plans!

When the Israelites came out of Egypt, God told them to go door to door and ask the Egyptians for their silver and gold, and THEY GAVE IT TO THEM! The bible says they left the land that oppressed them loaded with silver and gold! What?! That’s amazing! In Proverbs 13:22 it says the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. So, God will even use wicked people to make us rich! That’s good stuff! Also, in Deuteronomy 8:18, it says ‘remember the Lord your God, for it is Him that gives you power to create wealth.’ I especially love that verse, because God is putting in our own hands the power to create wealth! In other words, it is up to us whether we will receive wealth, riches, and prosperity! I don’t know about you, but I would like some of that.

Mark 11:22-24 has recently become one of my favorite verses. In short, Jesus is telling His disciples to say with their own voices, “mountain move!” And whatever they SAY and BELIEVE, they will have! That’s a powerful promise from our Savior’s own mouth! The power is in OUR saying with OUR mouths! God has already promised to provide all our needs in Matthew 6:26 when He speaks about the birds of the air being fed. Are we not much more to our Heavenly Father? Of course we are! Not only does He desire to provide food, shelter, and clothing to all His children, but He desires to go even further and give us the things we want. Afterall, He is the God of MORE than enough. He isn’t the God of ‘just enough to get by’.

Prosperity is a good thing y’all! Poverty is a curse. Why would anyone want to struggle to live? When you are poor and struggling to make ends meet, are you able to bless others? Or give to missions or world evangelism? God wants to prosper and bless us, not only for our own enjoyment, but to complete the work He called us to! He blesses us abundantly in order to be a blessing! The Word says that God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge. If you did not know that God wants you to have wealth, and He gives YOU the power to get it, now you do! So what are you gonna do with that information? Hey, I didn’t make this stuff up! I didn’t write it, it’s all in the Bible! Search it out for yourself and the Holy Spirit will testify to its truth! I pray this blessed you this morning! Until next time Beloved…..

BE BLESSED!!!
