Hello Beloved! It has been a while! I pray this day finds you all well and kept in His grace and mercy! This past month or so has been very eventful for our family, to say the least! With everything going on currently in the world, it really was a great time to step back and press in. Press in full force to His presence and seek out His will more than ever! That’s certainly what we did.

I believe our shift actually began at a pivotal point of giving at the beginning of this year when we travelled across country during 21 days of prayer and fasting. We were loaded with several kids and headed for Pittsburgh, PA to attend a few revival meetings. It was there that we were led to give our biggest offering EVER! We gave our family van that was totally paid off and in great shape. It was a huge struggle to part with it, but being obedient in that moment is what I believe sparked a fire and opened the floodgates of Heaven for supernatural blessings to start raining on us. Now, please don’t get it twisted. I am not telling this story to brag about what an awesome donation we made. But instead, to glorify the One who gives every good gift. When we are faithful to the voice of the Lord, and parted with something so valuable to us, something shifted in the supernatural. Yes, giving gets God’s attention. In Malachi 3:10, God says, “test me in this (giving) and see if I will not open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing that there won’t be enough room to put it all!” That’s a promise!

And that, Beloved, was just the beginning! Since then, it has only been up from there. The Lord has led us from places, things, and people that we needed to let go of in order to step into our purpose. And the letting go our van was an illustration of just that. When we made the choice to obey and release what we held so dear, God was able to work and give us even more blessing. If we hadn’t listened, if I had given into the thoughts that were screaming “you’re crazy, don’t do that! It’s too precious, you need that, hold onto it,” God’s hands would have been tied. Not by His choice, but ours.

Thank you Jesus for the boldness and courage to let go of what is holding us back! A lot of times we believe we need something but in the letting go of it, we are set free! We can finally move forward! So, we flew home (at no cost to us) and our adventure began! Fast forward 4 months, and we are now lead pastors of The Lighthouse of Faith Church, and my husband is also the worship leader! Who would have thought?! Not us! Not in a billion years! It is a small church, but Zechariah 4:10 says “do not despise the small beginnings!”

And this is only the beginning! The beginning of our ministry, our work, our blessing! We are excited and on fire to work for the Lord, bringing in His harvest! For the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few! But when we have Jesus inside us, we are fully equipped for EVERY GOOD WORK! Hallelujah!

The Holy Spirit speaks to every one of His believers! I encourage you today to listen, believe, and obey! God is faithful and will never lead you astray. He will never leave you or forsake you neither! Take inventory of your life and see if the Lord is nudging you to let go of something that you THINK is valuable and irreplaceable. He may just be waiting for you to release it so He can open the floodgates and pour out a blessing so huge, the only problem you will have is finding enough room for it! Until next time Beloved….

BE BLESSED!!!
